For JC2, prelims are either just behind you or just ahead, and the A Levels are in the first week of November. For JC1, Promos are weeks away. Either way, September is the last month in which a structured block of work still has time to compound before the paper that counts.
By October the calendar belongs to revision timetables, consultations and the papers themselves. Anything that needs a run up has to begin in September, which is exactly where these three days sit.

The examples most students carry into November were collected early in the year, and the arguments have moved since. Four chapters researched and written for this September give you current, sourced material you can actually deploy.
